Idea Birth

Modeko is the result of many years of reflection, expertise, and practice in the field of engineering and construction project management. Through our work on various projects, we identified two key obstacles that hinder the development of the construction industry:
  • Unpredictable timelines and delays, often caused by weather conditions and the complex coordination of all stakeholders involved in the construction process.
  • Lack of cost transparency, which frequently exposed investors and owners to unforeseen additional expenses.
In addition to these challenges, we also felt a responsibility toward the environment and the need to apply the principles of sustainable building. Traditional construction methods often generate significant waste and rely on materials that are not environmentally friendly, which is contrary to the vision of the future we want to create.

From these challenges, together with our partners at ISO SPAN, the idea for Modeko modular, environmentally friendly construction was born — a concept that combines:
  • Precise module production in controlled conditions, eliminating the impact of weather and enabling fast and reliable construction
  • Complete cost transparency, where every part of the process clearly defines pricing and timelines
  • Environmentally friendly materials and processes that minimize waste and protect the environment

Vision of the Future

Modeko is not just a brand – it is a response to the needs of modern society for:
  • Faster, higher-quality, and more affordable construction,
  • Sustainability that is becoming a fundamental requirement for all future projects,
  • A fair and transparent relationship with investors and end users.

RAĐANJE IDEJE

Modeko je rezultat višegodišnjeg promišljanja, znanja i prakse u području inženjeringa i upravljanja građevinskim projektima. Kroz rad na različitim projektima, uočili smo dvije ključne prepreke koje koče razvoj građevinske industrije:

  • Nepredvidivi rokovi i kašnjenja koja su često uzrokovana vremenskim neprilikama i složenom koordinacijom svih sudionika u gradnji.
  • Nedostatak transparentnosti u troškovima zbog čega su investitori i vlasnici često bili izloženi neplaniranim dodatnim izdacima.

Osim ovih problema, osjećali smo i odgovornost prema okolišu i potrebu za primjenom principa održive gradnje. Tradicionalni načini gradnje često proizvode velik otpad i koriste materijale koji nisu ekološki prihvatljivi, što je suprotno viziji budućnosti koju želimo graditi.

Iz navedenih izazova, s našim partnerima iz ISO SPAN-a, rodila se ideja o Modeko modularnoj ekološki prihvatljivoj gradnji – konceptu koji spaja:

  • Preciznu proizvodnju modula u kontroliranim uvjetima, što eliminira utjecaj vremenskih uvjeta i omogućava brzu i pouzdanu izgradnju
  • Potpunu transparentnost troškova, gdje svaki dio procesa jasno definira cijenu i rokove
  • Ekološki prihvatljive materijale i procese, koji minimiziraju otpad i štite okoliš

PRODUCTION FACILITY

The Modeko production facility is located in Benkovac, Zadar County.

Benkovac was chosen as a strategic location that allows Modeko to offer services competitively across the entire territory of the Republic of Croatia.

The facility is housed in an enclosed, customized space fully equipped with technology for producing modules – prefabricated wall elements that are assembled on-site. Within the facility, we have samples on display for visitors as well as a dedicated office presentation area.

Danas naša misija nadilazi granice naše tvrtke. Mi smo globalna mreža strastvenih pojedinaca koji žele biti glas promjena u građevinskom sektoru. Do sada smo proizveli više od 53.000 m² EcoCocon zidova, odvojivši oko 6.000 metričkih tona CO2 i uštedivši još najmanje 23.000 metričkih tona tijekom životnog ciklusa naših zgrada kroz povećanu energetsku učinkovitost.
